Starting of 2011

As some of you know, Laurel has been having problems with passing out since October.  We thought it could be hypoglycemia, where ones blood sugar is fragile and a person need to keep it level, or they will feel fatigued and pass out from weakness. Or at least, that's what we thought.
We were at a new years eve party, and had just come home and were getting ready for bed. My room is right above Laurels, and I heard her when she collapsed, so I ran downstairs and found her. She started to scare me when she took a while to come around, and by that time our parents were there. It took her a long time (as in, a minute or over a minute.) to wake up, and when she did, she was in and out and not very coherent. She kept passing, out, and was soon complaining of her head hurting immensely. She then said it hurt everywhere. Mother called 911, and spoke with a paramedic on the phone. At the time, I could hear Mother from out in the hall saying that she was shaking violently, writhing in pain, was having trouble breathing, and could not talk. It kept happening over and over. Then a Paramedic walked in, I called a couple people, and Hayley and I packed up to spend the night at Roman and Caitlin's. I heard they were calling for the Medicopter, and more and more volunteers and policemen kept coming through our door. Caitlin and Roman arrived, and Laurel was being loaded onto a stretcher to get in the ambulance. We all drove a little ways to an open field where the helicopter was waiting. We watched from the car as she was loaded from the ambulance into the copter, and then headed to the emergency room. It was around 3:00 in the morning. We watched The Three Stooges Show (just the silly comic relief we needed :) in the waiting room for about an hour until we could find out more.  Laurel was OK and was going to be staying in the hospitall. She had been having seizures. After about three hours of sleep and a lot of lounging around on the couch, we headed to the hospital. It has been a weird day, to say the least. The doctors have a theory as to what the problem is, but that would take awhile to explain, so I'll save it for later. She is spending tonight at the hospital, and will be released tomorrow sometime.

Please pray that she would heal, and have as little pain as possible (She has minor injuries due to falling and hitting her head, and from shaking so hard when she was seizing)
And that this problem would be fixed with to much complication. Also, please Pray for my parents.

In Christ,
Jillian
