*Insert Laughter*

You wouldn't want your face to be stuck like this, would you? I believe in smiling. I just recently met this kid who just goes around with a smile on his face...it's really contagious. You should try it.

Wee Bit Of Me Wednesday

{one} have you ever been stuck in an elevator?
No. I don't think I ever want to, either.

{two} have you ever ridden on an elephant?
No. Like the hot air balloon, I have no particular desire to, either. It has potential to be fun, though.
{three} have you ever met a well known celebrity?
Again, no.

{four} do you have any food allergies?
Uh, nope.

{five} do you know how to sew?
Yes! I'm not real good, but I can do it. Seam ripping...that I am good at.
{six} did you get an allowance when you were young?
No.
{seven} how often do you fill up your gas tank?
I don't have a gas tank...I don't really pay attention to how much we fill up the van. Or the bug, either.

{eight} have you ever been stung by a jelly fish?
No, again. But I have stepped one at the beach before. It was pretty squishy.
{nine} have you ever been robbed?
No.

{ten} what is the worst haircut you’ve ever had?
Probably the time my mom cut my bangs too short...I lived, though.

Jillian

Why Shouldn't I Be Happy?

"God gives us troubles so that we can be stronger in the end.
He gives us trouble so that we can learn to have patience and be content.
He gives challenges so that we can run to him, learning to constantly rest in him and go to him and his word for advice. Without them, we drift away from him. What a wonderful life God has given us! He gives us joy, but when he gives us struggles, nothing but refining and strengthening is going on. We should rejoice! Nothing but eternal good is in our christian lives!"

A Sunset and a Crib

It is so nice to be living above ground to see the sunset. I think the strangest transition in being married was moving from a birdhouse to a burrow. I think I now live in a happy medium, out of the basement and not on the second floor. It is wonderful to see things like rain, green grass, and lots of mountain bluebirds, among other birds. Binoculars will be great to get, after we get everything for the baby.

Roman has worked very hard on the crib for our baby. He has put together all the sides, and the next step will be to make the legs and bottom for the crib. It has been a couple weeks since I have seen it, otherwise I would have more pictures, but I'll get them soon enough. This beautiful crib will be a wonderful heirloom piece for our family. We hope it will be able to hold lots of babies. We thank the Lord for all that He is giving to us as we prepare to raise the child He will entrust us with. What a marvelous thing it is!

Wee Bit Of Me Wednesday

{one} how often do you do laundry?

Once a week...It just works out best that way. Well, I actually do it every three weeks.
The blessings of sharing sisters. :)

{two} what is your favorite type of cookie?

{three} what would you do with an extra $2000 per month?
Um...a lot.

{four} what was/is your favorite subject in school?
Writing. Hands down.

{five} have you ever ridden in a hot air balloon?
No, and I don't think I ever will. It would be nice, though.

{six} what was your high school mascot?
Never had one...never will. Home schooled and proud of it!

{seven} if you had the chance to go into space, would you?

YES! I love outer space!

{eight} how often do you go dancing?

I've only done it once, with a friend of mine...she had loads of fun. I kept making mistakes.
I'm not much of a dancer, I'm afraid. Well, actually, I don't care.

{nine} would you rather drive or fly?
Fly. I've never flown before.

{ten} have you ever been caught re-gifting?
No, I've never re-gifted.

Oh, Bother

To quote Pooh Bear. :)
Well, the votes have come in with two backgrounds evenly voted for, So I decided just for fun ( and because I like checking the progress on polls...silly, I know), that I would have another poll between these two:

And background #2:

Once again, you can just vote on the poll at the top of our sidebar.

Ahh, Decisions

The blog background we were using has been deleted, forcing us to choose a new one. There a million options, no joke! I narrowed it down to these...since your the reader, which one do you want? I'll make it easy for you...just look at options below, and then vote on the poll at the top of the side bar. Lets see what comes of this:

Should I go with gray, like before, therefore keeping all other accessories and other frills the same color theme (blue/gray)?

Do I Pray Enough?

http://www.bloggersbase.com/images/uploaded/original/2488c03f5e17d5eb038d1471bd57f83889d40f8e.jpeg

“Tell God all that is in your heart, as one unloads one's heart, it's pleasures, and it's pains, to a dear friend. Tell Him your troubles, that He may comfort you; tell Him your joys, that He may sober them; tell Him your longings, that He may purify them; tell Him your dislikes, that He may help you conquer them; talk to Him of your temptations, that He may shield you from them; show Him the wounds of your heart, that He may heal them; lay bare your indifference to good, your depraved tastes for evil, your instability. Tell Him how self-love makes you unjust to others, how vanity tempts you to be insincere, how pride disguises you to yourself and others. If you thus pour out your weaknesses, needs, troubles, there will be no lack of what to say. You will never exhaust the subject. It is continually being renewed. People who have no secrets from each other never want for subject of conversation. They do not weigh their words, for there is nothing to be held back, neither do they seek for something to say. They talk out of the abundance of their heart, without consideration they say just what they think. Blessed are they who attain to such familiar, unreserved intercourse with God.”

Tired of Living?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD0-YxtCfRUCIvqyvKMKJLzh3v4dlMU8fg37c83wARAEDPbwiusAnM2MAxXdqikSNxWduX_NZw1B6ozZmEGJ-2OvL2iFo6IdvFEJRKEkUAsp1jZ6HSf4pu2SfiUDKkw8nvFcJLHt9zn_7x/s400/tired-woman.jpg

I found this post VERY ENCOURAGING as I juggle some serious thoughts right now. Where and what my goals are, how to get myself there, how to be happy with the everyday, how to glorify God in all I do...
