I don't really know why. Perhaps because I like weaponry and fighting, but my friends have learned all the other cool forms I would like to learn. So, someday I would really like to get into archery. But I don't know if that is going to be anytime soon. We will have to see.
Modern and old fashioned, I'll do either and both!

ReplyDeleteI did archery for about five years during my teen years. I have my own bow, but don't get out much these days due to the fact that I've outgrown my bow a bit and need to take it somewhere to have the string lengthened for me. However, the real reason for my post was to tell you that I loved archery. I did it through 4-H, and made a lot of friends and learned a lot of new things. I have not yet gone bow hunting, but it's something I'd like to try.
ReplyDeleteP.S. The shotgun 4-H group was always really uppity, and the archery group was kind of the "black sheep" group of shooting sports, so we would poke fun at the shotgun group sometimes - "Oh yeah, 'cause it's SO hard to pull a trigger!" LOL!
